Explore New Features and Enhancements within the NCCN Drugs & Biologics Compendium

NCCN continues to enhance its suite of clinical decision-making resources used across the oncology community to help people with cancer.

New features within the NCCN Drugs & Biologics Compendium (NCCN Compendium®) improve search functionality and a new dropdown menu integrates information directly from the NCCN Chemotherapy Order Templates (NCCN Templates®).

Users can seamlessly search within the NCCN Compendium® for the NCCN Templates® ID and regimen name (plus course title if applicable), further improving access to information on safe handling of cancer drugs and biologics. Users can now quickly and easily find the information they need using free-text search functionality across all dropdown menus. As always, the NCCN Compendium continues to be a continuously updated and expanding database in parallel with the NCCN Clinical Practice Guidelines in Oncology (NCCN Guidelines®).

Detailed information on new features and enhancements to the NCCN Compendium are listed below:

  • All dropdown menus are now searchable/filterable using a new free-text field
  • A new dropdown menu for the Chemotherapy Order Templates is now available, which contains the Template ID followed by the title (regimen name + course title if applicable)
  • The Template title (regimen name + course title if applicable) has been added to the Chemotherapy Order Templates column, which will display after the Template ID
